Textbooks

Why are textbook's so expensive. For my chemistry class, the textbook is 150 dollars and the lab workbook is 100 dollars, thats 250 for a chem class. Thats bs, they could just use some online thing resource to have us read and homework should be online, that way we save paper and money. Those textbooks that are online are stupid, they're hellla just trying to make money of broke college kids.

If the government really cared about education, they would make everything cheaper. My stats teacher winter quarter had an online textbook and it worked wonders. It was free to use and it was really helpful. If all teachers did this, they would have a lot more happy students. Those of us who're broke spend so much time thinking about how much the textbooks cost and how they affect us that by the time we get home (9:30pm) we don't have time to do homework. Too bad i can't do anything about it though.
